The fluid movements of the GYROKINESIS® system emphasize breath, articulation, balance, inner core, body awareness, and lengthening. It wakes the whole body and mind, and brings renewed energy, flexibility, strength, and confidence.  It is practiced while seated on stools, standing, and laying on the floor. Without the feedback and guidance of equipment, participants in a Gyrokinesis class are more dependent on their own proprioception to explore movement sequences.
